this entry started off as another rant about how much work is sucking for me lately and i was about to start complaining again, but then i got a surprise phone call from someone very special asking me why i've been so edgy lately.

it was a short little chat, maybe five minutes or so, but it was a quality pep talk. she listened to my complaints/problems/quibbles and even offered some suggestions on how i could improve things.

and that's all i really needed...just having someone i care about show that they *care* about me too, makes me feel like i'm not in this alone.
