lately i've noticed a troubling trend starting to develop. each and every time i find a girl that i think is cute, i find out that she's already got a boyfriend. or, every girl i'm interested in, either isn't interested in me (which, believe me, i don't understand at_all), or is interested in someone else who isn't interested in them. or, she doesn't want a 'relationship' right now. for example: last night i was introduced to this girl who happens to be a friend of a friend. she joins our little group and starts talking to us a little bit and i start thinking, 'hey, wow, this girl is really charming. and cute, too!'. so after the show, the group heads outside to mingle and i'm talking to this girl and finding out what she likes and stuff and just as i was about to do something stupid (like ask her for her number), i'm informed that she's already taken. doh! and i coulda sworn i was gettin' vibes, man. hmmm, maybe my vibe detector could use some tweaking... and you know what else sucks? i placed a call to gap girls' cell phone on thursday and left her a message. she still hasn't called me back. i called twice yesterday, getting her voice mail each time. i didn't bother leaving a message 'cos i figure if she really was interested and wanted to talk to me, she would've called me by now. but, well, whatever. hmph. oh, and why do i keep eating ham, sausage and eggs at 2 in the morning? man, i need to take a nap after work because... tonight is black rebel motorcycle club! huzzah! |
