Scared straight.

Pursuant to my previous entry where I extolled the virtues of my Slanket, here are a couple of artists' renderings of the slippery slope I'm on. This is your brain, and this is your brain when you think a Slanket is awesome. It's the gateway to furrydom:

I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to that song the same way again. But seriously though, I'm beyond pumped that STP is reuniting. But man, I hope this isn't like that bad New Kids on the Block reunion rumor. Oof.

man, i totally want a slanket!! i fear that if i get one though, i'll never leave the house because i'll be so comfortable in it.

also, by "bad new kids on the block reunion rumor" you really mean awesome right? haha seriously though, i would go see them in concert if they really did reunite. after all, when i was younger i was convinced that i would someday marry joe mcintyre!

Oh my god, I just lost my shit. I didn't even know what a slanket was, so I investigated on their site, showed my roommate, and she yelled, "THAT WAS MY IDEA! WE WERE GOING TO MAKE THOSE!" Hahahahah. They look like fleece druids.

I live under a pile of afghans, which we have been thinking about making into pants soon. If you're interested in a pair of genuine afghan pants, lemme know. The perfect mid-winter fashion statement!

dude, i have some serious LOVE for stp. but "velvet revolver" makes me want to cry a little bit (in a sad way), so i don't know how i feel about weiland. i really want this reunion to be awesome, but i have some serious doubts. i will tread cautiously.

BUT OH MY GOD THE PLUSH CONNECTION. if the reunion audience is at least 25% furry, you can bet your ass that i'll be there. what. the. fuck.

Hahahah, I actualy don't get Daily Candy but I'm glad you do! I totally thought that by clicking on that link that I was going to see this or something but WHAT THE HELL IS THAT, A ROBE WITH PANT LEGS???? That's dumb. (Says the guy with the Slanket, heh.)

And for Oliver's sake, you probably shouldn't show him any more furry videos. I'm sure he won't grow up to have a furry fetish, but better safe than sorry.

	I think it has to do with age. STP were riding grunge's coattails so if you were into the music of the day, then you considered them lousy copycats. Of course for myself they were the gateway to everything. Core was the first CD I ever bought! (Reply to this)(Parent)
